Today I went on a nice hike with the son and Daggy on the Natura Trail from Buckow. At first it was difficult to find a parking space on Weinmeisterweg, as most of it was occupied by vehicles from a film company. In retrospect it was found that a documentary about life in Buckow in the twenties was being shot here for Netflix. With the best hiking weather, it was first over the Poetensteig (unfortunately some plaques with verses were destroyed) uphill to beautiful viewpoints in Märkische Schweiz. The very beautiful views of the hilly, densely wooded Märkische Schweiz allowed true low mountain ranges to arise. After we had now walked downhill towards the Tornowsee, to our disappointment we could not take a rest on the beach of Haus Tornow, as the area was not accessible to the general public due to a closed society (wedding). That is why we continue our hike towards the designated Pritzhagener Mühle. However, we did not find a restaurant or the associated entrance on site, so we continued to hike on easy-to-run paths through the forest and over meadows to Julianenhof without a long break. Here we made a detour to the bat museum. That was quite interesting. However, since the bats gather here during the winter rest period, not all areas such as the ice cellar (wintering quarters) are no longer accessible until May. The remaining areas of the free museum (donations welcome) can be visited until the end of October. Then it went back to the Tornowsee. We now chose the path through the picturesque Stobbertal and not directly along the Tornowsee to the small Tornowsee. After a nice view of the lake from the so-called echo stone (I did not hear an echo, but several children assured us to listen to an echo when you stand on the stone and call for the direction of the lake) we continue our hike towards the starting point. We came across several boards on a calorie promenade that indicated how many calories a food or. Contains luxury foods and how long you have to hike to break them down. For example, a pork knuckle with 440 kcal and a migration time of 90 minutes was specified. However, since we couldn't find a place to stop for a break on the entire hike, we didn't consume any calories, but only consumed various, which is not bad either. Shortly before the end we were slowed down again by the Netflix film team, because they were shooting a scene in a meadow in our direction and our outfit did not fit the time played. Overall, I found today's hike very relaxing. It will certainly not have been the last hike around Buckow. There are various hiking trails around the Schermützelsee and in the surrounding area.

Today again turned a round through the Great Zoo. Overall, it is very nice to walk here. The most varied foliage colors are also slowly emerging
autumn comes into its own. The start and finish point was the S-Bahn station. Zoo. Unfortunately my cell phone couldn't find a GPS shortly before the end, so according to the recording I walked across the pond next to the tea house. Overall, the route was around 1.5 km longer than recorded due to this loss of recording, as well as short interruptions. The return trip was a bit of a hassle, as the S-Bahn due to a medical emergency at the S-Bf. Hackescher Markt in Ri.Alex was interrupted.

Today's Sunday and public holiday used to make a hike around the Dammwiesen to Hennickendorf, past the Stienitzsee and the Gummiwiesen, back to Strausberg from the S-Bahn station in Strausberg. The paths were very easy to walk on and, like the numerous rest areas, were surprisingly clean. On the dam meadows we only saw a few horses and a few donkeys at the Lemke watermill. Later, shortly before Strausberg, water buffalo grazed along the way. Unfortunately, the Lemke mill with the associated farm shop is only open Monday to Saturday, so we were standing in front of closed doors. We could not climb the quail tower either, as it can only be viewed by telephone. After a little ice cream strengthening in the Cafe Eisparadies, we continued on a beautiful slatted path between Stienitzsee and the so-called rubber meadows. Two oncoming cyclists even dismounted, so that we didn't have to switch to the swampy edge. I have already experienced that differently in the Tegeler Fliess. If you do not respond to the ringing, you will simply be pushed away. Overall again a nice (for me a bit too short) hike. The round was largely identical to the section of the 66 lakes hiking trail from Strausberg towards Rüdersdorf.

Before picking up the grandchildren for the weekend with grandma and grandpa, I went on a hike from Mahlow to Diedersdorf Castle. I started from the parking lot at Mahlow S-Bahn station. Through a small forest called Hitzfichten, we first went over a beaten path at the edge of a field to a narrow concrete path to just before the railway line before Diedersdorf. From here I used a dirt road along the railway line to the entrance to the village. After a short round through the town and over Brandenburg's largest beer garden, I ran on a combined foot / bike path in the direction of Großbeeren and then stopped to the right into the Diedersdorfer Heide at the level of the Mahlower Seegraben. It was mostly several kilometers on a smooth paved path along the concreted Seegraben to Waßmannsdorfer Chaussee. After crossing this new road I hiked back to Mahlow along a well-filled irrigation bridge (name according to map) on a narrow, very nicely tapering path through a marshland. An overall nice hike, even if nothing was open in Diedersdorf apart from the beer garden. The museum barn and home parlor, the ice cream parlor and the Diedersdorf shop are only open on Saturdays and Sundays.
