Frank Slowfoot

Nice little round trip to the beautifully renovated Meistersel Castle. Unfortunately, we did not find the way to the northeast around the castle from the Komoot map. Otherwise great paths. The detour to the rest area is worthwhile, although the view is somewhat clouded by the trees.
If you want, you can of course do the tour in the opposite direction. The uphill section is longer, but Meistersel Castle is the highlight at the end.

Unique experience of nature! If you want to save yourself the steep descent from the Drei-Zinnen-Hütte and the associated ascent to the Langalm, you can first walk back a little from the Drei-Zinnen-Hütte towards Paternsattel. In between, a path branches off towards the Langalm.

The Pragser Wildsee is without a doubt a highlight of the Dolomites. It's no longer a secret. The rush is accordingly. We were there very early ourselves, but it will be difficult to catch a "quiet" phase during the tour. You're definitely never alone, and we were there in October, so not necessarily the high season.

Small tour into the Fischleintal, which Louis Trenker already raved about. A hike from Moos is worth it. Up to Fischleinboden it goes through the forest and along the stream, a great path. However, we were lazy and parked in the upper paid parking lot. From there it is only a 20-30 minute walk to the Talschlusshütte. It is the starting point for further hikes in the Sexten Dolomites.

      Hiked anyway in rainy weather.
The tour is unspectacular, but still beautifully lonely, despite the proximity to Hambach Castle. Whoever wants can of course visit the castle. You can save yourself the way to the cross on the Heidelberg, as there is no seating.

Small park with a historical background. There are several WWII anti-aircraft gun emplacements there. There is now a small star observatory at Punta Falcone.
The paths are well laid out and well maintained. Several viewpoints at the said gun positions with benches. The view over to the offshore islands (Elba in particular) is terrific.
A little caution is required if you want to take the beaten path down to the "Calas" with bathing facilities. Sturdy shoes and bathing shoes are required. But you will be rewarded with great underwater rock formations.
For my part, I just decided to add something above for a while. Watching a cormorant diving was one of my highlights.
