Información sobre Jan Vastenhout
Although the bike has been in my life since I was 5 and I've riding and discovering with it as much as I could during the years at school, keeping it up during my professional years in the Navy has always been a challenge. Fortunately, most of the time I was able to bring my Santos SCC03 All Terrain Bike along on the ship to enjoy some spare time in the different ports and on the different continents. The last ten years I've been able to combine the two much better and since retirement, two years ago, nothing stands in the way. Just riding the bike and finding and discovering new routes along the way. Currently making a change from the lightweight, carbon, racing bike towards the gravel, traveling bike, but always on my favorite Italian brand Bianchi. The aim this year, 2023, is towards longer, multiple days travels in Europe. One of the goals this year is the Tuscany Trail 2023. Most of the time operating in the North of Holland but also a few months a year based in the South of France, in the wonderfull cycling departement de L'Ariège.
