So on the Hessian side, the route is excellently signposted. In Bavaria, however, this leaves a lot to be desired! Either we were too stupid to find the markings, or they are simply missing! If this is still improved, but that's a nice tour.

I completed the first stage of the Eifelsteig (thank god) backwards. Since I had been running the day before, this was also quite good. Because one can say that it goes from Kornelimünster after the aqueduct steadily uphill. Although moderate and with only a few very steep passages, but still uphill…

Actually, the third stage goes until after Einruhr. That was too far for me for the first day. The tour is splendid to share. In Höfen there are many places to stay and especially meter high hedges worth seeing, even have their own small trail.

A while ago, when I did the tour with my dad. Summer 2011. That's why I created the tour later and am not sure anymore if we have taken the upper or lower route during the last kilometers from the Gaistalalm ... ;-)
But after 15 km and almost 2,000 meters we did not care that much ... But nevertheless…
Desde el "estacionamiento grande" caminamos en dirección a la(s) parada(s) de autobús y luego giramos a la izquierda. Sin embargo, hay que decir aquí que las pequeñas formas que a veces propone Komoot no son correctas. Aquí debe mantenerse en el camino principal, que tarde o temprano también conduce hacia arriba.
