Two of the most exciting European cities connect 700 kilometres, two countries and a sea. On the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route you can ride from pulsating Berlin to stylish Copenhagen.

The first 400 kilometres will take you through Brandenburg and Mecklenburg to Rostock. On the way unique cycle paths are waiting for you, which lead along straight canals, wind their way around the great waters of the Mecklenburg Lake District and pass through rustic forests, lush meadows and wide fields. The remaining 300 kilometres on the way to Copenhagen will take you through Denmark's unspoilt countryside, which is characterised by green meadows, lovely hills, imposing cliffs and beautiful beaches.

In this collection we have put together the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle path for you. In 14 stages, the journey goes from one capital city to the other, from Berlin to Copenhagen. You will almost always travel through unique nature, but you can still enjoy a great infrastructure along the cycle path. In Germany you can choose from a wide range of accommodation options and public transport connections at all departure points and stopovers.

There are also plenty of places to stay on the road in more rural Denmark, especially campsites, many of which are along the route. Here it is also possible to change to public transport such as bus or train if you want to shorten the tour a bit.

Then it goes over the Spree and north out of the capital. On the Havel cycle path you ride past glittering lakes, lush green meadows and through shady forest sections to Oranienburg. The entire route consists mainly of well-maintained bike paths and has hardly any incline over its 49 kilometers.
