Vulkan- und Kalkeifel

In this extremely sparsely populated region, marked by huge volcanic eruptions, the focus was on nature.

But also some very interesting castles ran in front of my bike ...

Un tipo de vegetación muy especial prospera en el suelo calcáreo de la reserva natural "Eschweiler Tal und Kalkkuppen" y le da al paisaje un aspecto único.

The Sahrbach, 15 km long, flows into the Ahr.

Lucky with the weather (strange clouds> strange precipitation):

El castillo de Vogelsang fue un "Ordensburg nazi"..., luego un área de entrenamiento militar, hoy un museo y sede de la administración del Parque Natural de Eifel.

Con casi 500 m, el Pflugberg es la montaña más alta de Voreifel. Cuando estoy allí, el clima siempre se vuelve loco, ¡pero fue un recorrido muy agradable! 😀
