Herzroute 99 in Richtung Westen und Zusatz Schlaufen

Entry into our «Heart Route Tour» through 5 valleys!

Leisurely trip: Reuss Valley / Bünztal / Seetal / Suhrental / Entlebuch (Napf area)

Drive through the hilly Emmental!

Away from the well-known main roads, hamlets unknown above us!

These two heart loops (899 east / west) were only inaugurated in April 2021.

Unfortunately we are disappointed after so much advertising! An extremely large number of sections in scree, mostly uphill or downhill!

We did both tours in one day and were very happy to be on our mountain bikes (cross-country)!

Great mountain route!

On the first 30 km, some challenging climbs!

Fantastic panoramic tour with fantastic alpine views again and again!

Welcome to the Bernese Oberland, high above Lake Thun!

Again great views, but this time on the Freiburg Alps!

Unique tour, what a shame the weather in the morning was not right. But we will definitely repeat this scythe round (heart loop 299)!

Highly recommended!

Now it's off from the hilly mountain region to the rather flat Bernese-Seeland!

Murten is worth seeing, as is the wonderful drive through the romantic vineyards high above Lake Murten to Lake Biel!

We didn't know the medieval towns, Le Landeron and La Neuville until now!

Fantastic and definitely worth a visit!

Back to the south side of Lake Biel!

Relaxing ride along the lake (cycle path a little inland, but always with a view of the lake and the Jura - direct sea route is «cycling ban»!)

From Biel via Büren an der Aare - Grenchen - Solothurn, follow the Aare cycle path (5)!

Be sure to visit Büren an der Aare and Solothurn!

Last stage in our homeland!

Veloroute 34 - «Alter Bernerweg» via Zofingen - Kölliken (old thatched roof house) - Lenzburg into the Reuss Valley!

After 10 days and 638 km / 9,100 vertical meters, with lots of great experiences and impressions, back home!
