Rund um den Kandel

Still undecided this morning where to go, then I read in the newspaper about the new mountain hotel on the Kandel, and it was decided.

At the beginning on the ladies path to above the Langeckhütte, great to run, sometimes soft as a needle, then rooty or rocky, steadily ascending - wonderful!

First of all, many thanks to Werner L. for the invitation to this great tour. The first 1.5 km were unfortunately paved but with great views of the countryside.

In the course alternating beautiful meadow paths, forest trails, single trails, sometimes exhausting, sometimes not :)

The first seven kilometers, up to the harder rock, were a single highlight for me. Narrow paths, with soft coniferous soil or covered with leaves, the path meanders sometimes in serpentines, sometimes on a steadily rising straight path up to the snow line (currently at approx. 750 m altitude)

Very nice snow hike, started in the morning light on new powder snow on the Damenpfad. Up to the Langeckhütte, then on lonely paths and paths to the Luser and the ruins of Schwarzenburg. On a beautiful forest path you go steadily up to the small waterfall of the Alterbach, then on a quiet wide path further up to the Langeckhütte, where you come across the women's path that comes down from the candelabra. This wonderful narrow path winds back almost to the starting point, very relaxed Easter tour.

Otra pequeña ronda de limpieza, esta vez en el Kandel. Hoy fue al revés, cuanto más alto subía, más basura había, ¡y era mucha!

Casi 10 kilómetros, un poco hacia arriba y hacia abajo: hoy fue una ronda muy agradable y relajante. Maravillosos caminos, como siempre en Kandel, y los caminos también fueron muy agradables.

En el punto de partida en Schwerhütte se puede aparcar bien o también se puede llegar fácilmente en transporte… Leer más
