Rund um Neuss

Today we were sporty despite the high temperatures. First 10 kilometers by bike to the mouth of the Erft, then almost 11 kilometers on foot through Neuss and then 10 kilometers back by bike. Except for a few dirt roads, this was a really great and experience-rich route on the Lower Rhine. We visited Dyck Castle and therefore left it out this time. A great round for a sunny day. A great view of Düsseldorf, watch planes landing, go for a walk on the Rhine and then have the path almost to yourself on the Altrheinschlinge (while listening to and watching the numerous birds). Gorgeous!

Even if the weather wasn't great, we wanted to do a little tour without muddy paths and easily accessible. Our choice fell on the donkey trail.
