This is the first leg of a 10-day cycle tour from Leipzig to Munich.

It runs on well-developed bike paths and without significant gradients. We start in the west of the trade fair city and stop in Lützen. Then over skirts towards Weißenfels in the Saale valley. We follow the Saale Cycle Path to Bad Kösen.

From Coburg into Maintal and over Staffelstein on to Bamberg.

Bike path along the Main-Danube Canal with a detour to Erlangen.

Part 7 of the bike tour from Leipzig to Munich. Today from Nürnberg direction southeast through the Lorenzer Reichswald to the Rothsee. Then along the Main Danube Canal to Berching.

On the eighth day of the cycle tour from Leipzig to Munich we drive through the lower Altmühltal.

The ninth stage on the bike tour from Leipzig to Munich. From Essing in Altmühltal over to Weltenburg monastery. Then through the Hallertau to Landshut

The last stage of the bike ride from Leipzig to Munich. Finally, we drive from Landshut to Munich on the Isar.
