It started with the first rays of sunshine this morning in sub-zero temperatures in Oberursel/Hohemark. The destination was the train station in Friedberg, approx. 40 km according to the route planning in Komoot. The first stage destination was the Großer Feldberg, other highlights were the Roman fort…

Above the clouds. On the way to the Feldberg it was gray and foggy. Once at the top, blue skies, sunshine and snow. The little Feldberg and the old king looked through the clouds. Fantastically beautiful ☺

A very nice round. Moderate inclines and not too long, therefore suitable for families. The Hausberg tower is located about halfway along the route, which is well marked with a red eagle. Unfortunately, it was completely covered in fog today, so that we had no view from the tower at all. That means, come back 😉
