This run is a great one to do on a bike or two feet — loosely following The Wales Coastal Path and National Cycle Route 5, you’ll find yourself in a sandwich between the glassy waters of the Irish sea (on a good day) and the the peaks of Snowdonia National Park. The section of trail that leads into Conwy is particularly cute and brings you in via the marina. Just as you peek around the final bend, Conwy Castle itself is revealed, and it looks like something fresh out of kids storybook. The best thing about a long run or ride are the coffee stops and more specifically for this area — the heavily buttered welsh cakes. You’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of beach front cafes on this route — in Colwyn Bay and Rhyl especially. My fave stop was The Pavillion Cafe at Llanfairfechan. Mostly because Llanfairfechan is fun to (try to) say.

¡Esta carrera es excelente para hacer en dos pies, o incluso en bicicleta! También es compatible con buggy para cualquiera que corra con un bubba. Siguiendo libremente el sendero costero de Gales y la ruta ciclista nacional 5, se encontrará en un sándwich entre las aguas cristalinas del mar de Irlanda…
