This stage of the World Heritage Climb is the only one so far that I cannot unreservedly recommend. The first 10 km through Aggsbach Dorf and further on forest and meadow paths to Hohenwarther Höhe are varied and beautiful. Then it goes for kilometers on asphalt through villages, fields and eternally…

Wonderful, varied and my personal favorite stage of the World Heritage ascent. With the roller ferry from Spitz to Hofarnsdorf and further on the World Heritage Trail to the Hohe Stein (short climbing passage to the lookout point).
The path connects with the Austrian Way of St. James and we reach the…

The 3rd stage of our hike is not quite as spectacular as the day before, but it doesn’t make it any less beautiful.

We booked the trip with overnight accommodation, breakfast, hiking snack and luggage transport through Donau Niederösterreich Tourismus GmbH and I can recommend…

A nice path through the heather and forest. Mostly you walk on natural trails, the forest is covered with wild blueberry bushes, the route is well signposted. A detour to the Gasthaus Schafstall is definitely worth it. When the heather is in bloom in August, the view is surely fantastic.

Very nice hike on soft forest paths through the beautiful Schaumburger Land.
Hermosa ruta de senderismo circular con un clima fantástico. Incluso vimos una pequeña víbora 😊.
