Very nice and easy hike, ideal for a dog walk. The tour goes around one of the reservoirs where the Wertach (here at Stockheim) is dammed. Easy bike ride around the reservoir near Irsingen. The hydroelectric power station on the reservoir was built in 1962 and 1964 was the commissioning. It has two generators for power generation. The Wertach is dammed here. The power plant is since 2011, a fish ladder, so that the fish find their way in the Wertach.

The 1741 m high Grünten is called because of its isolated location also "guardians of the Allgäu". It offers in clear weather a magnificent view of the Allgäu mountains and of course to the north, sometimes even to the Ulmer Münster.
