The trails consist of a tar road, gravel road, a little forest road and also a narrow path, but it is never dangerous. It goes down steeply. In Sankt Blasien there is a delicious ice cream as a reward. Unfortunately the cathedral was closed. The way back then goes up steeply and you need a few breaks to puff ... 😀

A nice little hiking tour about 9 km from Höchenschwand through the forest down the Wolfssteig for the first 4 km, then a loop and back again partly the same route, partly via a farm road. Did the tour with a mountain e bike. I would not recommend it for a city e-bike, the forest paths are too destroyed for that, at least at the moment, due to forest work due to wood damage .... Unfortunately, the elevation profile is not correct! The 9 km run normally in about 2 1/2 hours. We had long breaks! :-) You can park in Hünenfeld or at the starting point directly outside the village or at the cemetery or even at the substation. There is not much going on there as it is not an official…

The routing of the two-way tour is explained on the WEB page of the blackberry tavern. You can print out a PDF description and take it with you. Nice short 5 km lap, only one incline. Comfortable walking tour with great views. Paths partly very close to nature, never dangerous. We went it the other way…
