Original mountain hiking trails, (thank God) forest trails, via ferratas. This tour has it all. A very good basic level of fitness, especially for the approx. 2 km crossing of the gorge, is required. I overestimated myself 😏 but it turned out well. The Götzenalm at approx. 1650 m is beautiful.

Marienthal am Regen is a small nest on the Regen with houses that are well worth seeing. In the middle of the woods. The route today had a very nice narrow trail through birch forests, along a high path. Nice view guaranteed. On the way back it would have only been a forest road, so I walked back on the trail part of the way.

In and near Pommelsbrunn there are several very beautiful hiking trails with great views. On the north route of the 1000 meter high trail you pass a field of wild garlic, which is already fully open now (Good Friday). So: don't forget a container for wild garlic butter, pesto, ... enjoy your meal
