The rain break was optimally used in subtropical conditions from Locarno via Ronco sopra Ascona up to the oratorio of the Madonna del Pozzuolo. Once at the top, the first Flowige S1 trail to the Corona del Pinci viewpoint begins right after the Sattel mountain. The trail of the same name (S2) begins just below this vantage point. Arrived at Alpe Zot, the trail turns back into a Flowiger S1 until it changes further down into an S2 / S3 trail and was no longer drivable due to the storm damage. Pushing was announced until I heard the first rumbling thunder shortly before Arcegno, so I decided not to drive down to Intragna, but to take the direct route to Locarno and hardly got to my car, it poured from buckets. According to the circumstances (weather) a nice but short tour. Let's hope the weather gets better the next day.

Today, biking was not in the foreground, but simply to spend a nice day with the bike and my family on the Maggia at our favorite bathing place. We absolutely had a great day, not only the beauty of the Maggia Valley with the beautiful and typical Ticino stone houses, but also our traditional bathing spots, which we have been visiting for years, always put a smile on our faces. For us, the Maggia valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in Ticino and for us it only starts from the village of Maggia .........

Wow, was that a day today. Those who love single trails are at the right place on this tour. From Teserete we went up to the Passo de Lucio in the never-ending Ticino forest. Had to bump the bike a lot but it was worth it. From the viewpoint Cima al Pioanca we started with the first Folwigen single trail up to Passo del Lucio. From there then the Epic Trail towards Monte Bar, sometimes very flowy but always put where you have to get off the bike to push. The trail fits perfectly into the high alpine landscape. From the Epic Trail we went up again to Passo Cima Moncuco and from there the tariff fireworks came on the north side of Monte Bar. In the upper part Hammer Flowig and a lot on meadow trails and in the lower part very steep and blocked. Yes, I know that the complaint is at a very high level. But again to the two gentlemen, thank you very much for this certainly unforgettable tour, even if I could curse you in the ascent in the forest. And one more thing, my Epic Trail is still the Europe Trail from Tisch to Zermatt.

This morning on the road with my ♥ ️ sheet. Had selected a tour from Komoot's new discovery tool. Unfortunately, the gentleman who posted this only wrote how nice the view from up there is but not that this single trail could not be driven. Since my wife is not that trained in the single trail and could not carry the e-bike, we had to turn back, which was quite annoying. Here's a request to all Komoot users, if you already post something, just write about the events on this trail, the komoot lives from this information and the next one is grateful for the information.

First tour during my vacation in Ticino. I already knew Lago Dielio from earlier years (only by car). Today for the first time with the bike. Ascent everything on asphalt and nice to drive with some beautiful viewpoints on Lake Maggiore. The descent through the forest to Gerra was quite nice to drive in the upper part, even if it had some damage on the way from the intense rain. The lower part wasn't that much fun anymore because it was very steep and rough to ride. Komoot must have been so annoyed that it has already said goodbye to customs. I'm looking forward to the next tours and I hope that dream weather will last.

Awesome tour on the Churer Joch with detours. Started in Chur and then on the old Polenweg towards Churwalden. From there we went left towards Sasseil. When I was almost at the Oberberg, the roads were closed because you blew out trees with the heavy-duty helicopter. So, the whole way back and the branch in the direction of Alp Tschuggä and from there then up to the Joch. The DH towards Tschiertschen is the icing on the cake. Most of the time S1 / S2 also has S3 passages in it, which I then just hit. Cool tour today and awesome landscape.
The first half of the year is over and I will say goodbye to the holidays next week and will certainly do one or the other tour post from the wonderfully beautiful Ticino .....

Finally I was able to organize and supervise 2 events for my business again on the weekend, so today there was a Monday round. The Wildspitz had been on my list for a long time and since I still had a meeting that afternoon, I didn't want to drive too far by car.
From Rothenthurm over the Mostelberg, which I know very well, worked there for 1 year, then down to Sattel and up to the Wildspitz. The climb was 90% on asphalt. The DH was then, especially in the upper part, very technical and because it rained yesterday it was also very slippery. If the conditions are a bit dry, the single trails up there are certainly a fun factor.
Apart from two women I was pretty much alone today ........ Despite the fresh temperatures, it was fun.

En route in central Switzerland this Sunday morning. From Einsiedeln towards Alptal up to Haggenegg-Ibergeregg-Unterberg-Einsiedeln. Not a soul on the way to Haggengg, from there migration was the order of the day. The trail from Ibergeregg to Oberiberg has really cool sections that are really flowing and fun. On the last ascent of the Humbel, I had to suffer because I drove the whole tour in eco mode and my legs also noticed yesterday's tour. Well, if I want to drive longer tours in the future, I have to do more of my own (Mukis) and then it's just about training and suffering ..........

Actually the goal was the Palatinate Hut, unfortunately I had to give in, otherwise my battery would not have been enough for the way back. What do you learn from it, do not plan long journeys, then you will arrive at your destination.
But the tour was amazing in terms of landscape. On the ascent towards Valüntal you always have a fantastic view of the Rhine valley. Through the old tunnel it goes towards Alp Valün / Pfälzerhütte, the high valley is beautifully landscaped, and Alp Valün invites you to coffee and nut tops with a wonderful panorama. Even if I have "not yet" reached my goal, it was a wonderful tour, thanks to Markus Mignelli for the inspiration on this tour.

The Prättigau is simply great for biking. Dodged the announced heat today and started in Grüsch at 7:00 a.m. What could be nicer than being almost alone and watching the day wake up! Ascent to Alp Valpun was technically not a challenge, it went through the beautiful mountain landscape of the Prättigau. From Alp Valpun you have a great view of the "Swiss Dolomites" and with a lot of fun you can continue on the Flowigen single trails towards the Berghaus to the lake, highlights of the day! The trail down (official route from Switzerland Mobil 323) has it all, would say S2 / S3 and only for experienced mountain bikers.
The Runcalinis Trail in the direction of Schiers is for lovers of technical driving, at the beginning it is quite flowy and then very technical. Well, Hanspeter you live in a beautiful spot on earth and have the best tours on your doorstep .......
