La aventura para seguir el UTMB®: Pedimos a Courtney Dauwalter y Pau Capell, los ganadores de la edición 2019, que compartieran con nosotros los tramos más icónicos de la carrera.

El UTMB, o Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc, es un ultramaratón de 170 kilómetros que comienza y termina en Chamonix, Francia. Con un desnivel total de algo más de 10.000 metros, la UTMB está considerada como una de las carreras de trail más exigentes del mundo.

El UTMB, que se desarrolla entre Francia, Italia y Suiza, lleva a los corredores a las cumbres de magníficos puertos y a través de hermosos valles alpinos. Hemos creado diferentes rutas con los cinco lugares míticos recomendados por Courtney y Pau para que puedas vivir esta aventura a tu manera. Desde Chamonix hasta el Grand Col Ferret, estos son los clásicos del UTMB. Depende de ti.

    Rifugio Walter Bonatti

    Col du Bonhomme (2,329m)

    Located at km 43 of the UTMB®, this Col is not the highest mountain pass of the route, but it is the longest one to ascend.

    Take it easy on the softer start from Saint Gervais or Les Contamines because from La Balme the most demanding part awaits you.

    You’ll be rewarded by epic singletrack and outstanding views.

    La Fouly (1,600m)

    Located at km 111 of the UTMB®, Fouly is a small town in the Swiss sector of Mont Blanc.

    It is a perfect starting point on the path to Grand Col Ferret (2,537m), which marks the border between Switzerland and Italy.

    An ascent with switchbacks of about 1,000 meters takes you up the highest mountain pass of the UTMB. The views are quite simply spectacular.

    La Fouly

    A small Swiss village very typical of the region with traditional wooden chalets. It is surrounded by mountain flower fields and the highest peaks in the region, with a crystal clear river running through the middle of the village. A paradise !
