Super round on the Strohmeyerpfad / Sentier des Roches.

That was our fourth and last tour in the Vosges.

Much fog and occasional drizzle ...



We are back home again.

This was once again a super tour in the Vosges. Just like the previous day, it was also open since last fall, waiting to be finally made.

The descent over the Rocher du Hans, we have installed only at short notice.

He was surprisingly good with his big "steps".

After a totally rainy journey that was our opening tour directly from the hotel.

At first still with drizzle at 7 ° C. Later then in the sun.

This was our final tour on Tuesday after a rainy night and rainy early morning.

Very nice and very varied tour with some beautiful sunshine.

Apart from a little misty wetness.

The tour was on Monday and a short-term planning, after we fled immediately after arrival from the Col de la Schlucht gorge. At the top was zero visibility, drizzle and storm. But further down it was ok.

This was our first bird tour and then just a super tour to start on Sunday.

The straw Meier path we have certainly not gone for the last time!

Even if the title does not tell us: Afterwards we climbed with the Hohneck the third highest mountain of the Vosges. And finally, on Tuesday, a second time.

Our 2nd tour took us over 4 castles and a waterfall: Cascade du Nideck. How can look at more water, show the high-light photos.

Just like yesterday, the path changed again and again between narrow paths and forest roads.

But this time with a stop.

This was the first tour of our Vosges weekend.

It took us to the highest mountain of the northern Vosges, the Rocher de Mutzig and the impressive rock Porte de Pierre.

The tour was rounded off by the Cascade de Soultzbach waterfall.

Beautiful tour in France directly at the German border over 3 fantastic castles and other interesting rocks.

Today Rita planned and invited a tour in Alsace. Five of us had a nice day with the castles as special highlights.

On the first half of the tour we also passed several bunkers on the Maginot Line.

On the way to today's starting point, we stopped briefly at the French military cemetery with victims of the First World War.

On the way to Colmar we also visited nearby Eguisheim.

Both are very nice places.

In Eguisheim unfortunately the rain reached us.
