X3 linker Niederrhein von Zons zu den Krickenbecker Seen

My new project is the long-distance hiking trail X3 from the association linker Niederrhein. It starts in Zons and goes via Dormagen Mönchengladbach Viersen to the Dutch border and is about 100 km long. The second part of the X3 route is characterized by a very wooded hike. The route runs past the monastery, but we really wanted to see the monastery from close up and that's why we passed there. We didn't go into the monastery itself because a mass was going on. But we will do an additional hike there later.

Today the next part of the x3. The tour leads through fields rather than forests and is very straightforward. When we went on the tour, the path was probably very newly marked.



The many place names with -rath at the end mean that this was "cleared"

Every Tuesday you can eat potato pancakes in Langwaden Abbey. Sometimes the visitors come from far away to take some home with them.

The longest and so far most spectacular hike of the X3. Here you can almost feel the history of the Rhineland.



In the end I leave the X3 because I am at home here and save about 800 m of walking and offer an alternative.

Otra parte espectacular del X3. También puedo recomendarlo como una caminata de un día. Desafortunadamente, se tarda unos 90 minutos en volver desde el destino a Mönchengladbach.

Se ha hecho la última parte del X3. Este camino también es espectacular hasta los lagos Krickenbecker. Los últimos dos kilómetros hasta el Birkenhof son más como una pista de carreras.
