5 Day Road Bike Touring Czech-Polish border

This route takes you along the beautiful and rough Czech-Polish border, through the Giant Mountains, crossing the highest peak, Sněžka, with an elevation of 1,603 metres. The route mainly follows national cycle trails but be prepared for some gravel and cobble stones as well! You may need to push your bike a few (but not too many) times.The route starts at Dresden train station and ends at Opole train station. From Opole we took trains back to Berlin and Amsterdam.There are multiple campings along the route, some with not-so-informative websites or no website at all. In some of the more remote places, you can also lay down your bivy bag and sleep under the stars.
