Wanderungen im Bergischen Land

Un recorrido muy agradable y corto con una parada muy relajada, torre mirador y mucha vegetación. Combinamos todo con una visita al castillo.

Hoy he abordado el rastro de las leyendas. No logré a tiempo toda la distancia de casi 14 kilómetros, por lo que la acorté un poco. Había muy pocos árboles en la caminata, pero hay algunos destinos hermosos, como la cueva y las ruinas de dos castillos. Por cierto: ¡El granjero tiene huevos frescos!

Since we were on a mushroom tour before this tour, the tour has become a bit smaller. A beautiful route, especially in autumn, and quite lonely.

The tour has many beautiful sections. But here, especially when the weather is nice, there are a lot of people out and about, including mountain bikers. So be careful, especially on the ascents and descents - the paths are a bit narrower there.

Volvimos a hacer una bonita vuelta por Bergisches Land. Tomamos el tren desde Colonia Hansaring hasta el punto de partida de una manera relajada: el tiempo de viaje fue de menos de 30 minutos. Cuando hace buen tiempo, ¡un gran recorrido con varios lugares para detenerse a tomar un refrigerio!

Hoy fuimos a dar un paseo relajado en bicicleta. Quería echar un vistazo a la rotonda del tocadiscos. Luego combinamos todo con dos viajes en ferry y dos cervecerías al aire libre. Suena bien, ¿verdad?

In the best weather, we went on a hike to Haus Bürgel today. This is about 5 kilometers away from us - ferry ride included. Admission to Haus Bürgel costs 3 euros, I really liked the Roman museum. And the chickens that roam everywhere give the feeling of a farm. If you have more time - a detour to Zons is recommended.

The tour on April 3rd. wasn't really great. Lots of road (especially the piece in Monheim directly on Opladener Straße) - hardly any view of the lakes and only fences on some sections of the route - the tour is not one of our highlights. However, we have made a few discoveries that I will not withhold from you.

Nice route, to my disappointment, unfortunately, only a little snow despite the height, but rather muddy after the rain of the last few days. The Isenburg ruins are certainly the highlight of the route.

In rainy weather we ventured into the Bergisches Land today. The Altenberg Cathedral is a historical highlight, but the path is also really beautiful. Today we walked along the Monheimer Promenade (with a lot of art - including a geyser) and then hiked on the Rheinbogen. It offers utopian views as well as short wooded sections and is ideal, especially in such great weather. In Monheim there was a lot of activity - the stretch on the Rhine was very little.
