La reserva natural Wesuweer Moor tiene alrededor de 400 hectáreas y está ubicada al noroeste de Meppen, principalmente en el Parque Natural Internacional Bourtanger Moor-Bargerveen.

During today's Emsland exploration, the three of us traveled between Haren- Dankern and Wesuwe.

My longest and most monotonous hike to date.

The nature park path is officially recommended as a hiking trail by Emsland Tourism. On the circular route you can see high moor, peat excavation areas, rewetting, dark fields and meadows, forest and heather.

In the Fullener forest you can learn a lot about moor reforestation. On the side of the path you always get information about the subject of bog and its inhabitants.

One lap on the outer path is approx. 6 to 8 km long. The route south of the bird observation tower is currently inaccessible due to flooding.

On our hike today we went, among other things, the Versen nature trail. From this we made two detours to the Ems and enjoyed the peace and quiet on the Ems beach. Here we discovered some mussels and felt like we were on vacation.

The nature and culture trail is very interesting to walk because it is intended to help you discover local nature and its hidden beauties using information boards. There are several seating areas and some quiet places along the way.

The southern Versener Moor is a 100 hectare nature reserve northwest of Meppen. By the way, this belongs to the Bourtanger Moor.

My goal today was the old Emsbrücke Wesuwe. It went through Hemsen and Holthausen on partly unpaved paths along the DEK and parallel to the Ems. Today I went on a hike that I had planned for a long time in the Bourtanger Moor-Bargerveen Nature Park. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate as expected and dark clouds came in at times. Nevertheless, it was a very nice hike with many great impressions.

After I was alone in the Bargerveen a few weeks ago, today we went there for two in great and warm weather.

We see a lot of dragonflies while mating and nervous butterflies. The walk through the flock of sheep was a highlight.

The weather on our hike today in the Fullener forest and the provincial moor was also free according to the farmer's rule. The weather changed every minute from sun to hail to sleet.

The hike led from the Fullener forest to the southern Versener Moor nature reserve in pleasant summer temperatures. This circular route is well signposted and easy to walk on paved dirt roads.

El páramo de los mil escalones es una reserva natural de 65 hectáreas en Haren, en el distrito de Emsland.

Nada fue cultivado o limpiado en este pantano. Todo sigue siendo la forma en que la naturaleza lo creó.

Las superficies de agua reflectantes eran muy interesantes y hermosas de ver.

Hoy exploré más a fondo la hermosa zona entre Barger-Compascuum y Klazienaveen. Esta fue mi tercera vez aquí y siempre me sorprende el gran paisaje.

Hoy salimos espontáneamente con un querido amigo en la hermosa Oosterbos. Nos gustó tanto estar aquí hace unas semanas que hoy queríamos explorar esta zona más intensamente. Durante la caminata tuve dos veces una mosca piojo de venado (garrapata voladora) en mi cuerpo. Por suerte no me picaron.

Las casi 300 hectáreas de bosques, prados y pantanos elevados se encuentran entre Emmen y Klazienaveen. Lo especial de la parte sur es el canal König-Willem-Alexander y las dos esclusas de acoplamiento navegables. En la parte norte hay una hermosa ciénaga elevada.
