The weather was ideal again, but anyone who believes that it is really downhill going down the Danube is mistaken. The gradients are short, but can be very tough. The display was 20% and it felt almost vertical. But after 50 m it was done.

Today's stage leads through several river valleys, so beautiful descents are guaranteed, which you have to earn with appropriate climbs. What a day! No rain, blue sky with lots of clouds, warm but not too hot, unfortunately with a strong wind that often comes from the front. Actually we would like to drive a completely different route today, but the route along the Ulster and Werra rivers on former railway lines was often recommended to us. So we fed the navigation system accordingly. So that it doesn't go downhill too boringly, we have "built" a small hill in the middle… Leer más

Once again briefly and simply today. The Nessetal cycle path is highly recommended. Perhaps not a tourist highlight, but excellent to drive on. Two short but heavy rain showers were no real problem thanks to the motorway bridge and carport.

A very special tour: either sunshine and a less attractive landscape or a great landscape with rain. So many kilometers and a few photos. And I am proud of my beloved wife's achievement.

Actually, we always wanted to go along the Saale Valley cycle path. But due to poor signage and some construction sites, we lost the right path several times. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun, especially since it didn't rain.

Today almost a lazy day. Easy to drive, often lonely on back roads with no traffic, at the end a little dead straight main road to Genthin. And all with the very best bike weather.

There is not much to report about this tour. Flat land, little traffic, a great bike path on a former railway line, good weather and great accommodation.

Optimal weather again, today with many day tourists on the cycle paths in the astonishingly hilly Mecklenburg Lake District.

We think that the castle is worth a visit, you can also swim in the lake. The cycle path "old railway embankment" is very good towards Penzlin, even if there are stairs, but you can bypass them at the edge. Today there is nothing special to report, just tail wind and no rain

We drive on quite lonely back roads in the direction of Stralsund. There we get a good coffee during a short and light rain shower. Then it goes over the dam and bridge to Rügen. We first follow the road, then from Gustow the bike path, which is very easy to drive, but rather poorly signposted.

Very nice, but sometimes very sandy, we saw the senses of the cyclists slipping. So be careful!
