If you want to follow the tour, I recommend - if you are not on your way with a mountain bike - to switch to the other side of the Anger from the Ratingen Ost level crossing and drive via Eggerscheidt.

The section after "Little Switzerland" approx. Km 32-34, through the forest, is currently only passable to a limited extent. Path is badly washed out.

This bike tour served less to exercise than to discover (partly known, partly unknown) castles, etc. Uwe worked out the tour; thanks for that. We have already visited some of the castles in the north of Düsseldorf before, but there are more to discover.

The late summer weather was perfect.

The rain on the way back would not have been necessary. Hence the route along Rothenbergstrasse. and not along the Unterbacher See and through the forest back to Hilden. The tour was based on a tip from Wsh Reinhard and the ADFClern in Hilden really liked it.

Beautiful afternoon round with roller bike eagle. Attention: In the city forest, the small bridge over the Hoxbach has been destroyed! Better stay on the wide path and next path right again on the route.

Made a quick decision: Afternoon lap during the rain break.
